Photography 2.4
Welcome back! After last weeks let down I got after it this week with a new technique that I had never hear of before but I tried it out. This technique is called the rule of thirds. Basically what you have to do is imagine that there are two horizontal and two vertical lines across the image and focus what ever you are taking a picture of on one of those focal points where the lines intersect.
I did not take this picture but it does give a good representation of the technique in use. I tried this out on my way to Fort Keogh this week and I thought that they turned out alright. I think that the use of the archway and sign was a good start for me. It is a simple shot but I think that it is a step in the right direction.
These are the photos I took. After figuring this out I think I need to work on sun exposure next, and how to use that as an advantage or get rid of it all together. I was overall happy with these pictures and I am right on track with my plan and excited to see what comes next week!
